The system comprises of main nets made out of high tensile steel (min.. 1770 MPa) and tested high tensile secondary mesh if required (capacity of 675 kJ/m2). It has a capacity to sustain dynamic energy of 100 – 5000 kJ.
The system of GSWR along with chain link mesh/ hexagonal double twisted wire mesh particularly finds its application when the sizes of boulders vary from small boulders to large rocks. The hexagonal double twisted wire mesh is laid below the GSWR and connected.
Garware High strength steel wire rope nets comprise of galvanized steel wire ropes in both vertical and horizontal directions. At the intersections vertical and horizontal chords have a Metal bolted clamp. The nets comprise an upper hang portion with only vertical chords for anchorage and a lower net portion with both vertical and horizontal chords.
