Waterless urinals in washrooms will save 71 m3 of urinal flushing water & will reduce our CO2 footprint by approx. 2.3 tons per annum.

Average Water consumption has reduced in FY 2021-22 as compared to FY 2019 w.r.t production from 4.7 KL/MT to 3.544 KL/MT. i.e. Water consumption reduction by 25%.

We have significantly reduced our GHG emissions per ton of production by 24% in FY 21-22 compared to CY 2019 .
Fossil Fuels Consumption
per ton of production reduced because of Improvement in boiler efficiency, lesser steam consumption due to reduction in steam losses, Replacement of malfunctioned steam traps, Pressure Reducing Stations (PRS) & control valves installed to avoid excess pressure in distribution lines.
Productivity in comparison to Coal Consumption Improved in FY 21-22 from 3.59 to 4.49 (MT/MT), by 25% in FY 2021-22 as compared to CY 2019.
Electrical Energy Transition
32% of Renewable energy (Wind power) utilized being green power there were no GHG emissions.
Productivity in comparison to electrical Consumption Improved in FY 21-22 from 1.256 to 1.303 (MT/MWH), by 3.7 % in FY 2021-22 as compared to CY 2019.
Roadmap to become carbon neutral is prepared & actions are in progress to achieve the desired goal.
